Ole E. Limberg was born in Norway. He joined the WI 15th Infantry. The army listed him as living in Montrose, Dane County, WI, age 21 as a farmer. He had blue eyes, blond hair, fair complexion, and stood 5’4”. Limberg enlisted on September 5, 1862 at Montrose with a bounty of $100. He served as a Private (Menig). He died of nerve fever at Camp Randall, WI.
