Lewis (?) Ohlson joined the IL 15th Cavalry Company L. The army listed him as living in Morris, Grundy County, Illinois, born in Norway, a farmer, age 28, and married. He had blue eyes, light hair, light complexion,and stood 5’10”. Ohlson enlisted on February 20, 1864 as a Private (Menig). He was discharged from the service from hospital in Corinth, Mississippi.
