Andrew Dulton joined the WI 15th Infantry, Company D. The men of the company called themselves the “Norway Wolf Hunters.” They were also known as the “Waupun Company” because so many of its members were from Waupun.

The army listed Dulton as living in Waupun, Fond du Lac County, WI, age 18, and unmarried. He enlisted for three years on November 14, 1861 at Waupun, and mustered at Madison, WI on December 8, 1861 as a Private (Menig). He was sick in Murfreesboro, TN in June, and in Nashville, TN since August 1863. He died there on April 19, 1864. He was buried in Nashville National Cemetery; section H, grave 685.
