Ole Christiansen was born in Norway. He joined the WI 15th Infantry. The army listed him as living in Windsor, Dane County, WI, age 40, and a laborer. He had brown eyes, brown hair, dark complexion, and stood 5’5”. Christiansen enlisted for three years on January 5, 1864 at Windsor. He mustered on January 11, 1864 at Madison, WI as a Private (Menig) and Recruit. He had a bounty paid at muster of $60.
