Peter Rousch joined the WI 15th Infantry, Company G. The men of the company called themselves the "Rock River Rangers." The army listed him as living in Beloit, WI. He enlisted but not mustered due to being a minor. He was discharged from the service and claimed by his father on January 22, 1862.
